The Telford and Wrekin Open Exhibition is an exhibition that is open to all art forms and is held @ The Place ,Oakengates Theatre,Telford and runs from Saturday 7th June to Friday 4th July 2008. I was awarded First place with this picture, the first time I have won an art competition I have entered, so you can imagine I am very pleased about this. further details

The Three Counties Competition is open to any one who lives in either Shropshire,Staffordshire or Cheshire and is held at Keele University. I entered "Get Your Tongue Around That " for which i receives a Commended award further details
 
This competition was run over 10 months and you could enter 5 images each month. This picture won the October Nature catagory for which i won a battery charging kit, which has turned out to be very useful. I went through to the final but got no further further details
 
The West Midlands Biodiversity Partnership is an umbrella organisation for all wildlife groups within the West Midlands. With this picture i was awarded First Place in the Animal Magic catagory. further details
